BRIEF STORY OF THE GROUP

We are the member of Volunteer Social Service (VSS) 1977, under that we form a Spiritualists Sports and Adventurer’s Club (SSAC) 1982, then we divide SSAC to two groups, Sport and Adventurer 1994. For the Sport – Universal Martial Arts, Adventurer – Cordillera Mountaineering Club, Inc. (CMC) is for adventure only so when the Universal Martial Arts is not active in 2000, we form CMC Martial Arts Class to absorb all martial artists and those who want to be a member but not interested in adventure, but as years go on, more people want to join CMC but not interested in Adventure and Sport so that is the question of mind of the organizer of CMC, until we meet Deo Palma Ang KaSaMa national coordinator and Atmacetananda, a Spiritual Missionary. They talk to us about indigenous martial arts (arnis-sakuting in Cordillera). And then we agreed that we will form another name that will absorb the following; adventure, sport, indigenous arts, artist, association/group/club and individual as long that they are willing to do a community service. So we form the TAGA CORDILLERA KAMI, INC. (TCKI).
