Seven Programs for Local Self-Reliance In order to build a just, benevolent, self-reliant and progressive Maharlika society, the following seven points are the common goals and program of all its member organizations. 1. Providing 100% full and sustainable employment of the local people through creation of sustainable self-reliant barangay based cooperative industries. 2. Creation of maximum industries based on locally available assets, raw materials and natural resources, savings, human resources & consumption. 3. Non-exportation of local raw materials, human resources, and capital outside the local areas to increase the local capital base of the area. Only finished processed products should be exported to increase purchasing capacity of all. 4. Support of local products & services. Importation of outside products only when no local products are available. 5. Promote local self-reliant culture and real consumer values, universal moral-spiritual values and neo-humanistic education. Oppose pseudo-cultures and values. 6. Promote the use local languages, songs, and symbols as the medium of instruction and the primary means of communication in the local government units & schools. 7. To change the colonial name of the Philippines back to Maharlika and promote a new prosperous self-reliant moral culture and mindset that is maka-Diyos, maka-bayan, and maka-tao and launch local movements as per the specific demands of the local area.
