Mindanaw region self-reliant peoples organizations federates into Panaghugpong Mindanaw under the chair of Atalbihari. Joining the new regional NGO federation are  Katig Mindanaw, Kuntak Mindanaw, Kauban Mindanaw, Lakan Mindanaw, Maharlika Student Organizations, Baba's Foundation, Abante Maharlika, & Baruganan Mindanaw.  The new regional federation is formally alligned with the Ang Kasama, Inc. national self-reliance federation of Maharlika. It seeks to bring peace in Mindanaw through positive peacebuilding efforts in creating self-reliant poverty-free barangay communities.

Samaj hightlight : MASTER UNIT Self-Reliant Barangay Models are starting to sprout in different regions of Maharlika. One uniquely featured model is the Balay Kaliwat, which has been cited by the municipality as a tourist cultural destination of excellence.

Project of the month: KABATAK Childrens Cooperative: These children show the way to cooperative way of life and will enjoy a Christmas goodies through their savings of P5.00 a day and not by begging in the streets. Kabatak Childrens's Coop was born from a clean-up effort by Ang KaSaMa, Inc in the esteros squatter community where these children live. After the clean-up project, a coop project was conceived with the children.
