During the conceptualization of the TPMI, in a regional assembly in Pasuquin, the TPMI was fortunate enough to have Mrs. Aurora Corpuz, Laoag City Social Welfare and Development Officer, as a guest speaker. She encouraged the TPMI to organize development projects and promised to support the NGO.

The TPMI was featured twice in TV Patrol Laoag for their signature campaign on urging the public and local legislators' to act on the fiscal crisis issue of the country.

The TPMI Vision, Mission, Program of Action, Core Values, and a Three-Year Strategic Plan were created in a two day seminar held February 6-8, 2004 at Shalom Beach House, Pasuquin Ilocos Norte.It was facilitated by AKSM National Coordinator Deo Palma and Ms. Shiela R. Castillo, Public Relations Officer of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines National Committee.
